*Only the Living Can Chat*
What shall separate us from the love of God? …… is it your phone?
Many have taken the breaking of a new day for granted. All they do the moment they open their eyes from sleep is to pick up their phones and begin to press; to chat, check status, update status, make calls, set plans, reply messages, check emails, check account balance, go on all social media to know whatsup.
Already, their day is set in motion without, giving thanks to the giver of life, God Almighty.
Have you ever thought about these:
What if, you never wake from your sleep?
What if, an emergency had to wake you from sleep?
What if, a disaster had to wake you from sleep?
What if, gun shots had to wake you from sleep?
What if, a loud bang on your door by some thieves had to wake you from sleep?
God should never be placed as second on your daily itinerary.
We always seek God’s face to satisfy us early with His mercy (Psalm 90:14) but many do not want to seek Him early in the morning.
Psalm 5:3 My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O Lord; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up.
Set your priorities right by connecting first in the morning with the Source of your power and inspiration.
Stop taking the grace of God upon you for granted, just because you know Him as a loving Father.
Before the advent of phone we lived our lives well, so why would your own phone take first place in your life?
Am sure that when you fall sick, you hardly would remember your phone but, you seek God’s face for your healing.
You must break free from this habit of waking up with your phone in your hands now.
You have to put God first everyday you wake up. Talk to your Maker, thank Him for life, in fact, thank Him for your phone(s) too.
No matter the addiction you have with you phone, one day, your phone will leave you and if you die this very moment, someone else will begin to use your phone.
Always remember this, *Only the living can chat*.
